Bad experience

This weekend we decided to go to a Movie named Namesake.Usually we watch movie in PVR.But since Namesake was not running in PVR we decided to go to another movie hall named Rex.And the time we decided that the problems started creeping in.

Let me sum-up the differences i found between PVR(big dady) and Rex.

1)The booking can't be done either through internet nor telephone, just go and get it by standing in long Queue(though i was unsure whether i will get a ticket by seeing the Queue but was lucky enough to get it).PVR does have internet booking and telebooking just a click away.

2)There is an entrance in Rex but hey guys you will be surprised to know that it has a long chain with big lock always hanging so for getting in you have to jump over the chain and for vehicles it is a big NO NO.PVR does not torture the customers by having chains in entrance.

3)As we have Car we enquired about the parking from Rex through phone and they said yes it is there. But when we reached we saw yet again chain and lock. They say some watchman will open the gate but we never found anyone opening it and had to park somewhere else.Hey we can afford the money for parking but please Rex give us that.PVR does have a good parking space. No doubt about that.

4)The seats are too bad in Rex as they are in the same level as ur front seat so i have to always see the person head who was sitting in the front seat along with the movie. It was so bad experience as i have to shift myself according to the previous seat person or else i cant see.In PVR they have seats in different levels and each one can see the movie properly.

5)There is no security check before entering in Rex which is bad as Rex is situated in commercial area Brigade Road.PVR does provide strict securities.

By now you can imagine that how much comfort can a multiplex movie hall like PVR can give.It has no comparison with Rex.I can only suggest people that whoever trying to visit Rex dont have expectations. And to Rex i can say that please improve the standards else will loose the valuable customers in the long run.

The fact is that Rex has parking. Reality is much different from the fact. Nicely depicted.
