Item for sale

Earlier when an item has to be sold it faced a number of challenges like placing an add in newspaper or contact any broker or telling ur maid if she knows someone to buy the item. The big challenge was even you have a good item you cannot place a picture to attract a customer.

Those all problems are been taken care by none other than the INTERNET FREE CLASSIFIEDS and posting your add in various groups is just a click away and who can forget its all for FREE.

Whenever an item has to be sold the first impression comes how to make the item more attractive so that it sells.

1)In Internet free classifieds you can always write short or long(as you don't have the problem of paying money to post the classifieds as in newspaper where they charge per sqare centimeter of the add).

2)As compared to the newspaper which places the add of Buy/Sell items weekly here in INTERNET FREE CLASSIFIEDS you can place it daily.

3)Above that you can also have the picture of the item to be posted(though for that you need to have a digital camera).

One look at the item and the buyer guesses the type and made of the item. From the buyer's point of view its really amazing to just surf the sites(which allow to post free adds)and contact the person and then buy.

I can just say the INTERNET boom has just again proved to be useful in yet another field.

MALACCA......

The days of Nicobar were really always there to cherish.

I remember our house in malacca was very near to the sea(the sea water roaring sound will haunt the kitchen everytime).Their were two harbours in Nicobar one is Malacca(for 6 months) and another was Lapthy(for another 6 months).

Me with my parents and brother would go to the Malacca harbour(which was 5 min walk from our house)whenever Ship with passengers will come. The Ship would stand some 2km away from the harbour(as the ship cant come to the harbour where the water level was less) and from their the passengers would be carried to the shore via FANTOONS(one big piece of iron with its three sides open and pulled by small boats). The passengers would desend to the FANTOONS via ladder (there would be full of wind and the ladder would be flying and the passengers would jump from the last of the rope ladder to the Fantoon). Then the Fantoon will be pulled via a speed boat to the shore. That too the passengers would jump into the water, upto their waist length(as Fantoons cant be dragged above the sand in the shore)and then at last would reach the Nicobar Island. That is the only way to visit Nicobar Island.I remember i saw many of the persons, luggage been lost as carried away with the wave while throwing and many a times the luggage would be filled with water. This was one of our big timepass activity while we stayed in Nicobar.

Our house was near to the school that is why i used to go by walk. There were two ways one via the main road and another via the graveyard.I use to take the graveyard road and will reach the school in 5min.As in Nicobar island there are mostly christans and muslims, they beleive in ghost a lot.The friends of mine would ask have you seen any ghost during ur way???I will say no.They used to say that i was bold and i will pamper with the idea.

Nicobaries beleive in rituals and superstition a lot and one of them is when one person will die the whole family(the families were real big each having three four children)would stay for few days in the house situated in the graveyard. They will cook and do everything there.I used to see them on my way to school but never talked. They have their own language which is nicobarise but they can speak and understand hindi and english.

Our school in the frent had one big playground, there used to be prayers there but our games would have to played in another ground and during the P.E.T(Physical education training) period there was a rule that everybody should play.We gals would love the Kabbaddi game a lot. Most of the times as all gals love gossiping we too would enjoy that while sitting under the tree.

I would participate in March Pass during Republic Day and Independence Day and in some functions would be playing rings struck in the waist and with them making waves (there would be soothing music in the background and we would make waves and other formations with our rings in hand).I did remember our music teacher Geeta Madam use to take me always in singing or putting garland for the chief guest and i will happily go as i enjoy to be out of my studies.

The school of mine Govt. Malacca Senior Senondary School at present is been fully
destroyed by the earthquake. But it can't destroy my most cherished days in Nicobar.

Schooling in Andaman

The journey of my school starts when i was in Dilanipur(in Andaman)stydying in Tunu Munu was 4yrs old and i used to go to school in my father's scooter but always used to cry and hold his shirt .The same thing continued when i was admitted to Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya. But since was 5yrs old stydying in LKG i used to cry but the funny part was whenever i used to hear the school bell rang i will run inside the Gate and would end up in class(totally forgetting to keep crying and insisting of not going to school). My parents i remember will say ok dont go to school and you will never learn like other students then i would say no i will go to school.Still my parents tease me by remembering that.I studied in VKV till 6th.

Then came my father's transfer order to Nicobar and i too shifted there to Govt.Secondary School Malacca. You will be surprised to know that the school is completely ruined by Tusnami as near the sea and there doesnt exsist Malacca school anymore. But i can't forget the school as i enjoyed the most from being the first student in the class to winnning in sports and dance competitions.I was there till 8th standard.

Then i was admitted to Govt Secondary School Middle Point in PortBlair. The friend's call me dadi by name.Got a TVS Champ to drive to the tution(Maths) and to the School. This School was upto 10th and for +1 and +2 went to Govt. ModelSenior Secondary School(the only school that time which was upto 12th).So all meritorious students end up there.

These were the days when there was a tough competition among the students to get a Government seat to one of the Engineering Colleges. The days were passed by just attending Tution classes.I still remember i use to leave the house by 4.00am and enter again by 7.00pm.This is the trend in Andaman All students go to Good tution classes and their is a competition to be in the batch full of talents.

Still i can remember the days when my result was declared and my parents started the counting of whether i will get a seat. After so many sleepless nights i was finally declared to get a seat of Engineering in Coimbatore.I really owe a lot to Andaman who has shaped my life and giving me a better future.
